Wet Milling (Titanium & Glass-Ceramic)

Titanium and glass-ceramic don't give you the surface quality you need without water cooling.

Wet milling is built for materials that contain metal or glass-based ceramic — titanium premill abutments, glass-ceramic and implant bars. Without water cooling during milling, these materials lose accuracy and surface quality.

Hybrid models

Some machines in this category are hybrid (wet and dry) — they also handle dry zirconia, so you don't need a second machine. A wet system requires more upkeep: periodic coolant changes and tank cleaning.
