Zirconia Blocks for Dental Labs
The zirconia block is the core material of your digital lab work — its grade directly shapes the strength, translucency and final color of every restoration you mill.
White vs. multilayer
White (monolithic) blanks are a single uniform disc with no color layering; final shade is built by hand with liquid stains after milling. You keep full control over color and the material cost is lower, but it takes more chair/bench time. Multilayer blanks come with a built-in gradient of shade and translucency from cervical to incisal, giving you an esthetic result faster — especially useful for anterior work.
Choosing the right category
- White zirconia blocks — single-layer blanks, economical for posterior and bulk work.
- Multilayer zirconia blocks — graduated shade and translucency, faster esthetic results.
Blank size is chosen by thickness (10–30mm) depending on the case: 10–14mm for copings and short bridges, 18mm and up for full-contour and longer-span work.
Compatibility
Standard 98mm blanks fit most desktop milling machines. Tell us your milling machine model before ordering so we can confirm holder compatibility.
