Polaris Zirconia

Polaris 5D — multilayer with a color gradient, made from 100% Sinocera powder.

Polaris 5D is a multilayer zirconia blank: several layers of varying translucency and color that blend continuously into one another, reproducing the natural tooth's color structure — darker and more opaque at the cervical, lighter and more translucent at the incisal.

Two numbers make this blank dependable: 42-49% translucency and 800-1350 MPa strength. That range means both anterior esthetic cases and posterior bridges can be covered with the same family.

The raw material is 100% Sinocera powder — a well-known zirconia powder supplier. The size price table is on the multilayer zirconia page.

Frequently asked questions

Is Polaris suitable for posterior bridges too?

Yes, the 800-1350 MPa strength range covers posterior bridges as well. Check with us to confirm the right grade.

Do I still need to stain it?

In most cases, no — the gradient comes from the blank itself. For an exact shade match, light localized staining can still be applied.

Why does Sinocera powder matter?

The quality of the raw powder directly affects density uniformity, translucency and sintering behavior. Polaris is made with 100% Sinocera powder.

Does the restoration's placement on the disc matter?

Very much. The height at which it's placed, set in your CAM software, determines where the color gradient falls on the restoration; wrong placement erases the multilayer advantage.
