Zirconia Sintering Furnaces
The final stage of zirconia work — where the restoration's true strength and color are made.
Why sintering matters
After milling, zirconia is still in a soft, porous "green" state — it has neither final strength nor final color. A sintering furnace brings it to roughly 1450–1600°C, densifying the structure, producing about 20–25% shrinkage, and bringing the restoration to its final strength and translucency.
Furnace precision directly affects the outcome: a few degrees of temperature deviation or the wrong heating ramp can cause discoloration, cloudiness or even cracking. That's why element type matters — MoSi2 elements offer better temperature stability and longer service life than cheaper alternatives.
Speed sintering
Speed sintering cuts a cycle from around 8 hours to under 2, which is critical for urgent cases and same-day delivery — though not every zirconia grade supports it; the blank's datasheet must confirm a validated fast program.
